Experience and Education

Ming Tang received the M.S. and B. S. degrees in Computer Science from Zhejiang University in 1984 and 1987 respectively, the Ph.D. degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2002. Since 1987, he has been with the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Research Interest

His research interests are object detection, recognition and tracking, image and video processing, visual surveillance, pattern recognition, and machine learning. He has received the Special Scholarship Award of President of CAS in 2002, and the Nominee of National Excellent PhD Dissertation in 2004.
